- Use filters, so list messages don't appear in your inbox
- For most of the day, only opening messages where the subject line indicates urgency
- Once you have opened a message, try to deal with it there and then (reply or file or delete)
- Set aside an hour or so each day when I sort messages by subject (so read all related messages together) and work through them. "More hints")}
